Paragliding death, NSW

A man has died while paragliding in the state’s north-west today.

About 2pm Thursday (30 January 2020), police were told the man, aged 59, fell to the ground after launching from Mount Borah, in Manilla, near Tamworth.

Police, NSW Ambulance paramedics and the Westpac Helicopter attended. The man was treated at scene but later died.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
