Paralowie servo hold-up, South Australia

Police are investigating a service station robbery at Paralowie last night.

Just before 11.30pm on Thursday 17 March, a man entered the servo on Port Wakefield Road, Paralowie armed with a firearm and threatened the console operator.

He stole cash and fled on foot.

The staff member was shaken by the incident, but thankfully not physically injured.

Police attended and searched the area for the suspect, who is described as a young man of Aboriginal appearance, aged in his late teens or early 20s.

Northern CIB detectives and crime scene investigators attended and examined the scene. After examining the CCTV, it appears the firearm was likely a gel blaster.
