With the majority of Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) facilities now open to the public, the Tasmanian Government will extend all annual and two year parks passes by three months to reflect the time these green spaces were closed to the public.
Extending the annual and two year park passes, including Seniors park passes, will ensure the community is not financially impacted as a result of the measures we had to take to reduce the spread of COVID-19, particularly in a time when many are doing it tough.
Additionally, the fee to walk the Overland Track at Cradle Mountain Lake-St Clair National Park will be halved between 1 October and 31 December this year, as the state continues to recover from the impacts of COVID-19.
Enjoying our stunning natural spaces is part of the Tasmanian way of life and with PWS visitor centres, attractions and facilities once again open across the state, we want to encourage the community to get out and explore them.
