Works to deliver the $100 million Maryborough and District Hospital redevelopment are about to ramp up with the main construction works expected to start in the coming months.
As construction gets underway, we can expect to see works ramping up and more contractors onsite – which will mean changes to parking around the precinct.
Council, Maryborough District Health Service and the Victorian Health Building Authority are working together to minimise the disruption to services and community as much as possible. However, while the main works are underway, you may not find a carpark as close and or as convenient as you are used to when you visit the Maryborough CBD or health service.
Once we have a confirmed date for construction to begin – more detailed information will be provided about changes to on-street parking zones and alternative locations for parking.
