Passenger critically injured when car hits pole, NSW

A man has been critically injured in a single-vehicle crash at Chester Hill overnight.

Emergency services were called to a bridge over train lines on Miller Road about 10pm (Wednesday 13 May 2020), after a black Nissan Pulsar left the road and hit a power pole.

The front-seat passenger sustained severe head injuries and was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he’s reported to be in a critical condition.

The driver escaped with minor injuries and has also been taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing.

The incident is being investigated by officers attached to the Crash Investigation Unit (CIU).
