The welcome increase in shopping and social activity following the easing of COVID-19 restrictions is a timely reminder of the importance of timed parking in our region’s busier precincts.
Like most large regional centres, Council relies on timed limits to ensure orderly, safe and fair parking for everyone.
Mildura Rural City Council’s Civic Compliance officers will once again be patrolling timed parking areas from Monday 26 October, in line with the increased demand on parking. This includes patrols of off-street private car parks.
Drivers are asked to be mindful of any time limits when parking their car.
Council’s Civic Compliance officers will follow current health advice while on patrol, including wearing face masks, maintaining physical distancing (1.5 metres) and practicing good hygiene.
