Pedestrian dies after collision in Greensborough

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fatal collision in Greensborough earlier this month.

Emergency services were called after a car struck a pedestrian on Lorimer Street about 3.25pm, on 21 September.

The pedestrian, an 88-year-old woman from Greensborough was taken to hospital with serious injuries but sadly later died.

The driver of the Ford Ranger, a 66-year-old woman from Pheasant Creek stopped to render assistance at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
