Pedestrian Dies After Crash – Woodbine

A man has died following a crash in Sydney’s southwest today.

About 7.20am on Sunday 10 March 2024, emergency services responded to reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle on the Hume Motorway at Woodbine, near Campbelltown.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the male pedestrian, but he died at the scene.

At this stage, the man’s identity is unknown.

The 48-year-old female driver was uninjured.

She was taken to Campbelltown Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene as an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident continues.

As inquiries continue, anyone who may have been driving on the Hume Motorway at Woodbine prior to 7.20am this morning and has dash cam footage, should contact Campbelltown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
