A man has died in hospital after being hit by a car at North Sydney last month.
Emergency services were called to Blue Street just after 4pm on Saturday 20 April 2019 after the man was struck by a Volkswagen hatchback.
The 25-year-old was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with serious injuries.
Officers from North Shore Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.
The driver of the Volkswagen, a 50-year-old man, wasn’t injured and was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
This morning (Friday 3 May 2019), the 25-year-old man died in hospital.
Inquiries into the crash continue.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
