A person is in custody following a disturbance in Claremont a short time ago.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene in 5.20pm following a report of a disturbance between a group of people.
A man in his 60s received non life threatening injuries to the head and was assisted by members of the public just prior to police arrival.
A person was taken into custody at the scene and investigations are ongoing.
