Perth Market Snapshot for week ending 13 December 2020

Sales activity decreased 13 per centin Perth last week, with REIWA members reporting 926 transactions.

This decrease can be attributed to aneight per cent fall in house sales, 20 per cent fall in unit sales and 27 percent fall in vacant land sales over the week.

Properties for sale

There were 9,545 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which istwo per cent less than the previous week.

A closer look at listing stock levelsshows house listings decreased by three per cent, listings for units remainedstable and listings for vacant land decreased by two per cent.

Last week’s total figure is seven per cent lower than levels seen four weeks agoand are 30 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were3,061 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is five per cent more than the previousweek.

Last week’s rental listings figure isseven per cent higher than levels seen four weeks ago but are 49 per cent lowerthan levels seen a year ago.
