Perth Market Snapshot for week ending 17 July 2022

Sales activity decreased 10.6 per cent in Perth last week, withREIWA membersreporting 792 transactions.

Over the week, house sales decreased by 10.1 per cent, unit sales decreased 10.7 per cent and vacant land sales decreased 18.6 per cent.

Properties for sale

There were 8,682properties for sale in Perthat the end of last week, which is 1.4 per cent less than the previous week.

A closer look at listing stock levels shows house listings increased by 1.8 per cent, unit listings increased by 0.8 per cent and listings for vacant land increased by 1.2 per cent.

Last week’s total figure is 1.8 per cent higher than four weeks ago and two per cent higher than a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were 2,380properties for rent in Perthat the end of last week, which is 1.4 per cent more than the previous week.

Last week’s rental listings figure is 3.6 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 19.5 per cent lower than the same time last year.

Leasing activity increased 1.4 per cent in Perth last week, with REIWA members reporting 670 properties leased.
