Perth Market Snapshot for week ending 6 December 2020

Sales activity increased four per cent in Perth last week, with REIWAmembers reporting 1,074transactions.

This increase can be attributed to ano change in house sales, a no change in unit sales, and a 44 per cent rise invacant land sales over the week.

Properties for sale

There were 9,723 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which isfour per cent less than the previous week.

A closer look at listing stock levelsshows house and unit listings decreased by four per cent, whereas listings forvacant land decreased by three per cent.

Last week’s total figure is five per cent lower than levels seen four weeks agoand are 30 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were2,934 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which istwo per cent more than the previous week.

Last week’s rental listings figure isfour per cent higher than levels seen four weeks ago but are 51 per cent lowerthan levels seen a year ago.
