Perth Serious Crash

Major Crash Investigation Section officers are seeking information regarding a serious crash in Perth last night, Saturday 19 February 2020.
About 10:30pm an E-Scooter was being ridden west on Wellington Street. At the same time a Hyundai Elantra was being driven east on the same road. The two vehicles collided at the intersection of Hill Street, which is controlled by traffic lights.
The rider of the E-Scooter, a 32-year-old man from Scarborough, was thrown from the scooter and received serious, life-threatening injuries. He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by St John Ambulance.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 24-year-old woman, was not seriously injured.
Both vehicles received significant damage in the crash.
