A-League Women’s Premiers and Grand Finalists Sydney FC have dominated the PFA’s Team of the Season, with five players voted into the starting XI and a total of seven included in the squad.
The PFA announced the 17-player squad ahead of Sunday’s blockbuster ‘Big Blue’ Grand Final tomorrow – a rematch of the 2021 decider.
A-League Women’s players competing in the 2021/22 campaign voted on the composition of the squad, which considers player performances across the A-League Women’s 14 regular season rounds.
Sky Blue forward Cortnee Vine received the most votes from her peers across the competition, earning the status of Team of the Season captain.
