We’ve completed the playground upgrade at Glen Edward Rice Reserve in Brighton East, creating a modern, inclusive and natural space for kids to play, explore, and have fun!
The makeover includes new equipment and improved pathways, seating and landscaping.
The final design was shaped by feedback from over 100 local residents who voted to include their favourite playground features such as the basket swing, a multi-play unit and double swing set.
The design improves accessibility for people and children of all abilities and incorporates natural materials to encourage an enhanced connection with nature.
The upgrade is part of our Playground Improvement Plan and showcases our commitment to creating and protecting inclusive, liveable ,and sustainable spaces for all to enjoy.
