Last week we took out the Parks and Leisure Australia Playspace Award (Victorian and Tasmanian region, less than $500,000) for our Dendy Park south playground redevelopment. We’ve received plaudits for the vibrant colours used, the range of interactive elements including life-size snakes and ladders, and features that make the park attractive to children of all ages. We’re now off to the Australian finals, which is a fantastic achievement!
The Dendy Park south playground is located near Dacey Street in East Brighton.
Council is committed to providing safe and contemporary play facilities and has committed to upgrading all of its playgrounds by 2025.
