The Merlin Darwin Triple Crown returns to Hidden Valley Raceway this weekend as the official Supercars Indigenous Round, and there is plenty of action for the whole family to enjoy over the coming week.

The excitement goes up a gear on Wednesday, when the much-loved Night Transporter Convoy rolls through town. Departing Hidden Valley at 6.30pm and travelling into the city and back, this is a spectacle not to be missed. A range of free family-friendly entertainment will be on offer from 4pm-7.30pm at Raintree Park as part of the convoy. This will include a specially choreographed Welcome to Country to celebrate the Indigenous Round.

On Thursday, a Driver and Rider Signing Session will take place at Darwin Waterfront with activities from 4pm-7pm. This will include a Saltwater Ceremony at 5.15pm, followed by the signing. Bring your merchandise or grab a poster for your favourite motorsport heroes to sign, and enjoy the Nitro Up North and show car displays.

Heading into event weekend, from 17-19 June 2022, the world-class on-track motorsport on offer at Hidden Valley will be complemented by off-track entertainment including a dedicated Kids Zone and Teens Den.

The new and improved Kids Zone will feature Jack and Jill shows, Amazing Drumming Monkey performances, Mini Moto, stilt walkers, arts and crafts, face painting, an obstacle course and circus area, chill-out zone and much more. The Kids Zone will be located in track centre and will run on Saturday and Sunday from 9am through to 4pm.

Older kids will be well looked after with free games machines in the Teens Den, located under the Skydeck Platform. The Teens Den will operate on Friday from 4pm-10pm, Saturday from 11am-10pm and Sunday from 9am-5pm.
