Police appeal after man robbed in Yagoona

Police are appealing for information after a man was robbed in Yagoona yesterday.

About 6.30pm (Monday 27 April 2020), an 18-year-old man met a female at Yagoona Train Station before exiting together via the Hume Highway and walking to Gazzard Park.

It is alleged two unknown males approached the pair when they entered the park and threatened the man with a knife before stealing two mobile phones, a wallet, cards and cash.

The two unknown males fled on foot towards the Hume Highway and the woman is believed to have run from the scene during the incident.

Police were alerted, with officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command commencing an investigation.

Police have now released CCTV images of a woman they would like to speak to who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The woman is described as being Caucasian in appearance, with long, dark hair. At the time, her hair was worn in a ponytail and she was wearing a green tank top and ripped black jeans with white sneakers.

One male was described as being 175cm tall, with a skinny build and was last seen wearing a black jumper.

The second male is described as being of a large build with a full black beard and was last seen wearing a black jumper and jeans.
