Police appeal – Burglary, UUMV and other offences at Gold Coast

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a man who may be able to assist with their investigations into multiple offences throughout the Gold Coast.

Gold Coast Detectives believe the 28-year-old Arundel man can help with their enquiries into numerous home and business break-ins, unlawful use of motor vehicle, fraud, stealing and drug offences in suburbs including Burleigh, Broadbeach Waters, Bundall, Helensvale, Varsity Lakes, Southport and more. The offences have taken place over the past couple of months.

Just before 6am on September 6, two offenders forced entry to a business on Karp Court, Bundall, before stealing a small amount of cash. They left in an Audi four-wheel-drive that was reported stolen during a burglary in Kedron the previous morning (September 5). Police located the car abandoned on the Pacific Motorway on September 9.

In another incident, just after midnight on September 7, a man was captured on CCTV forcing entry to a service station on Millennium Circuit in Helensvale. The offender stole a quantity of cigarettes and other goods before leaving the scene in a car believed to be the stolen Audi.

Investigations indicate the man is still actively committing offences across the Gold Coast and police are urging anyone who may have information into his whereabouts to contact them immediately.
