Police appeal for information: Serious traffic crash at Beenleigh, QLD

The Forensic Crash Unit and Logan Criminal Investigation Branch are appealing for information following a vehicle vs pedestrian incident at Beenleigh overnight, February 16.

Initial investigations indicate around 10:10pm, emergency services were called to Main Street following reports of a man being struck by a vehicle.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers were unable to locate either the vehicle or the man involved.

Following further information, emergency services then attended a Buna Street address, where they found the injured 18-year-old Beenleigh man.

The 18-year-old man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Residents at the Buna Street address are assisting police with their enquiries.

Investigators are continuing their enquiries to identify and locate the vehicle allegedly involved in the incident and are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything or may have relevant CCTV/dashcam footage to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
