Police have released images in an appeal for public information to identify a woman who was located deceased at Main Beach today, February 27.
At 9.00am, officers were called to Main Beach after the body of a woman was located at the beach near a hotel.
Investigations are underway to identify the woman, who is described as Asian in appearance, believed to be around 50-60 years old with short dark hair.
She was wearing a red, black and pink one-piece swimsuit.
Police are appealing for anyone who may recognise any of the items in the photos below or have information about the incident to contact police.
The woman’s death is not currently being treated as suspicious.
Investigations are continuing.
