Police appeal for public help: Homicide investigation at Rockhampton

Police are appealing for public assistance with ongoing investigations after a 35-year-old Frenchville man was charged in relation to the death a woman at Allenstown on August 21, as part of Operation Uniform ACCA.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone with information regarding a silver/grey Great Wall dual cab utility (pictured).

The vehicle may have been travelling in the South Rockhampton area between Gladstone Road and Quay Street, with cross streets Derby Street, Stanley Street and South Street (area pictured).

It’s believed bright coloured decals were removed from the vehicle on Sunday, August 21 between 3-4pm.

Residents are also asked to check their yards, bins and any other parts of their properties for a plain grey jumper (like pictured) that may have been discarded.

Anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dashcam footage is urged to contact police.

The man is remanded in custody and will appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on November 16.
