Police appeal to locate boy missing from Ballina

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Ballina.

14-year-old Jayke Poultney was last seen in the Tweed Heads area on Thursday 23 March 2023.

When he failed to return home to Ballina, officers from Richmond Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and Jayke’s family hold concerns for his welfare.

Jayke is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of slim build, with brown eyes, and brown hair styled longer on top.

Police have been told that one front tooth sticks outwards slightly, and he typically wears black clothing with two silver neck chains.

It is believed he may be in the Caboolture area.

Anyone who may have seen Jayke, or has information regarding his whereabouts, is urged to contact local police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
