Police appeal to locate jewellery owner, North Brisbane

North Brisbane police are looking for the owner of a necklace and watch discovered on a man creating a disturbance yesterday (Tuesday, October 13).

Around 5pm, a 30-year-old man was arrested at Geebung for allegedly creating a disturbance by harassing passengers on a train between Carseldine and Geebung.

A search located the necklace and watch on the man with police believing it may have been stolen from a passenger, possibly a teenage boy who exited the train at Northgate station.

The Rothwell man was charged with creating a disturbance or nuisance, unlawful possession of suspected stolen property, obstruct police and contravene direction or requirement.

The owner, or anyone who can identify the owner, is encouraged to contact police.

The man is due in Brisbane Magistrates Court on November 8.
