Police appeal to locate man missing from Auburn 16 December

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s south west.

Sayed Mousawi, aged 42, was last seen at a home on Belgium Street, Auburn, about 2pm on Tuesday 12 December 2023.

When he could not be contacted or located, officers attached to Auburn City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with an intellectual disability.

Sayed is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 175cm tall with a medium build and shaved black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and long, baggy basketball type shorts.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
