Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s south.
Gennadii Bystrov, aged 84, was last seen in Penshurst, about 1pm today (Friday 26 June 2026)
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and immediately commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and his family have concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia.
Gennadii is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 165cm, thin build and bald.
He was last seen wearing a blue denim hat with a French flag on the front, light blue chequered button up shirt with white stripes, blue puffer jacket, black pants and brown shoes.
Gennadii is known to frequent the Penshurst and surrounding areas.
