Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl reported missing from Sydney’s south.
Ashleigh Afele, aged 12, was last seen at Hurstville Railway Station, about 4.30pm today (Friday 5 June 2026).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Ashleigh is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, about 160cm tall with slim build, black hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a red jacket, white short-sleeve button-up shirt, red checkered skirt, black leather shoes, and was carrying a black backpack.
She is known to frequent the CBD, Lilyfield and Strathfield areas.
