Police appeal to locate missing man – Mona Vale

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

George St John, aged 71, was last seen at a home on Maxwell Street, Mona Vale, about 7.30am this morning (Monday 30 October 2023).

When he could not be located later today, officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with a health condition and left home without any personal possessions.

George is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of thin build and with balding grey hair. It is not known what he was wearing at the time.

George is known to go on walks in the local area, frequenting the Mona Vale CBD and beach, and Warriewood beach.
