Police appeal to locate missing man – Surry Hills 28 June

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Surry Hills.

Victor Lauberts, aged 70, was last seen at an aged care facility on Hunt Street, Surry Hills, about 9am on Tuesday 27 June 2023.

When he did not return and could not be contacted, officers from Surry Hills Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

There are serious concerns for Victor’s welfare due to him living with medical conditions that require medication.

Victor is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build, with long grey shoulder length hair on the sides and bald on top.

He was last seen wearing a blue chequered button up shirt, blue jeans, black shoes with white soles and a black backpack.

Victor is known to frequent the Surry Hills Library, World Square and the Sydney CBD.
