Police appeal to locate missing teenagers from Albury

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two teenage girls missing from the state’s south.

Hanna Crighton, aged 14, was last seen at a unit on Prune Street, Lavington, about 6.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 21 February 2023).

Brhydee Knight, also aged 14, was last seen at a home on Captain Cook Drive, North Albury, about 11pm yesterday (Tuesday 21 February 2023).

When they could not be located, officers attached to Murray River Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into their whereabouts.

Police and the girls’ families hold concerns for their welfare due to their ages.

Hanna is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm-160cm tall, of slim build with long dark hair and blue eyes.

Brhydee is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 140cm tall, of medium build with long dark hair and blue eyes.

The girls are believed to be together and may be travelling with an older male in a maroon Mitsubishi Challenger with NSW registration DB35LL.

Police believe the girls may have travelled to the Sunbury or Sale areas in Victoria.
