Police Appeal To Locate Missing Woman At Oakdale

A search operation is underway for a missing bush walker in Nattai National Park in the Southern Highlands area.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the states Southern Highlands area.

Lily Hooper, aged 18, was last seen leaving a home on Burragorang Road, Oakdale, about 8am yesterday (Wednesday 13 August 2026), with the intentions of going for a hike.

Unable to be located or contacted since, officers attached to The Hume Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare.

Lily is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of slim build, and long blonde hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a shirt and shorts.

Following inquiries, police have since located her vehicle near the Bonnum Pic Walking Trail, in the Nattai National Park.

A multiagency search is underway in the area, with the assistance of SES, Police Rescue and NSW Ambulance.
