Police appeal to locate teen missing from Homebush

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teen missing from Sydney’s south-west.

Amar Menon, aged 14, was last leaving a house on Derowie Avenue, Homebush, about 11.00am on Saturday 8 April 2023.

When he failed to return home or make contact with family members, he was reported missing to officers from Auburn Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare.

Amar is described as being of Indian appearance, about 160-165cm tall, of thin build, with short black hair and brown eyes.

Amar is known to frequent the Homebush and Holsworthy areas.

Anyone who may have seen Amar or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact Auburn Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
