Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two boys missing from Sydney’s south-west.
Shayan Alvi, aged 14, and Ansar Alvi, aged 9, were last seen on Elm Road, Auburn, about 10pm yesterday (Friday 10 July 2026).
When they was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command were notified about and commenced inquiries into their whereabouts.
Police and family have concerns for their welfare due to their young ages.
Shayan is described as being of Indian/Sub-continental appearance, about 165cm tall, of thin build with short black hair.
Ansar is described as being of Indian/Sub-continental appearance, about 145cm tall, of thin build with short black hair.
The boys are siblings.
Both were wearing a black long sleeve zipper jacket, black trousers and black Nike running shoes.
Shayan and Ansar are known to frequent the Mona Park, Mona Street, Auburn and Auburn Memorial Park Rawson Road and Auburn areas.
