Police appeal – Traffic crash in Tallai, QLD

Police are appealing for public assistance following a two-car traffic crash in Tallai yesterday (August 13).

Preliminary investigations indicate around 8.50am, a silver Holden Commodore sedan was travelling eastbound on Wallandra Road when the driver lost control and veered onto the wrong side of the road, crashing into a white Ford Territory utility.

The driver of the Holden Commodore (image below) left the scene on foot before police arrived, walking in a westerly direction.

The driver of the second vehicle was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone who was driving in the area at the time and may have dash cam footage – or residents who may have CCTV footage – to please contact police. The crash occurred between Bendigo Crescent and Marcus Way, near Ingles Park.
