Police are searching the Bealiba area, near Maryborough, for missing woman Sandra Kochannek.
The 61-year-old Bealiba woman is believed to have left her Mount Road home sometime before 1.30pm yesterday (23 April) and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Police and family members hold concerns for Sandra’s welfare and have released an image in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information on her whereabouts.
She is described as about 175cm tall with a slim build, blue eyes and brown hair.
Local officers, together with members from the Air Wing, Search and Rescue, State Emergency Service and Country Fire Authority, are currently searching the Bealiba area.
Anyone who sees Sandra or has information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Maryborough Police Station on 5460 3300.
