Police are responding to fatal collision in Geelong

Geelong Highway Patrol are investigating a fatal collision which occurred in Geelong Wednesday afternoon, 22 December.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Latrobe Terrace and Roebuck Street about 2.35pm after reports a car had collided with a mobility scooter.

The rider the mobility scooter, a 92-year-old Newtown man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and sadly died in hospital.

Investigators are yet to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.
