Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred in Hallam this evening.
Investigators have been told a car and pedestrian collided in Arrino Crescent about 5pm.
Emergency services were quickly on the scene but the pedestrian, a young child, could not be revived.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
