Police are investigating following a fatal collision that claimed the life of a woman in Meringur last night.
It’s believed a vehicle and a Prime mover truck collided on the Sturt Highway just before 11pm.
The driver of the car, a 45-year-old South Australian woman, died at the scene.
Her passenger, a 10-year-old boy was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The truck driver was not injured and is assisting police with enquiries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigators are keen to speak to anyone with dash cam footage.
