Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash At Athol Park

A motorcyclist has died from his injuries after a crash at Athol Park in June.

About 5.45am on Monday 22 June police were called to Glenroy Street after reports a motorcycle collided with a parked truck.

The truck driver, a 46-year-old man from Victoria, did not sustain any injuries.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 26-year-old man from Andrews Farm, was transported to hospital with serious injuries. On Friday 3 July the man sadly died as a result of his injuries.

Major Crash Investigators continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.

His death is the 61st life lost on SA roads this year.
