A motorcyclist has died in a three vehicle traffic crash at Morayfield today.
Around 11.30am a dual cab was travelling north on Grant Road and began to turn left into Beacon Street when it was struck in the side by a motorcycle also travelling north on Grant Road.
The motorcycle then struck a sedan which was stationary on Beacon Street waiting to turn right into Grant Road.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 48-year-old Brisbane man, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital but died shortly after arrival.
The drivers and passengers of the car and 4WD were not physically injured in the incident.
Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating.
