Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash which occurred in Picola this afternoon.
Investigators believe a car ran off the road near the intersection of Murrays Mill Road and Picola North Road around 1.30pm and crashed into a tree.
The yet-to-be formally identified male driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
