Police are responding to fatal crash at Sheldon, QLD

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after an 18-year-old man died in a single vehicle crash at Sheldon early this morning (October 12).

Initial investigations indicate about 4am, a Mitsubishi Lancer was travelling south on West Mt Cotton Road when it veered off the road and collided with a power pole.

The driver and single occupant of the vehicle, an 18-year-old Thornlands man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Anyone with information or dash cam vision that may be able to assist with investigations is urged to contact police.
