Police are responding to fatal crash at Thornlands, QLD

Police are appealing for information following a fatal crash at Thornlands last night, May 15.

Emergency services were called to Cleveland Redland Bay Road at approximately 10.40pm, to reports a blue Holden Commodore had crashed into a power pole and caught alight.

A man in his 30s, the sole occupant in the vehicle, died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.

Police appeal to anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident or the vehicle in the Redlands area prior to the crash, to come forward.
