Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Girrawheen on Wednesday, 26 August 2026.
About 6.45pm, a black Hyundai Getz travelling west on Marangaroo Drive and a grey Suzuki Swift travelling east were involved in a collision.
The 82-year-old male driver of the Hyundai was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital, where he later died as a result of injuries sustained.
The 48-year-old female driver of the Suzuki was not injured.
