Police are responding to fatal crash, Gold Coast 14 May

A 51-year-old man has died following a two vehicle crash in Molendinar on Thursday, May 11.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 12.30pm, a motorbike and car crashed in the southbound lanes of the Pacific Motorway.

The motorbike rider, a 51-year-old Pimpama man, was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital with critical injuries where he later died.

The occupants of the vehicle; a 45-year-old man, 67-year-old man and 20-year-old man, were physically uninjured.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision of the incident to come forward.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
