A man has died after a two-vehicle crash in the state’s New England region.
About 3.30pm yesterday (Thursday 24 September 2026), emergency services responded to reports of a crash involving a white Toyota Hilux and black Subaru Impreza along Guyra Road, Guyra.
The 75-year-old male driver of the Toyota died prior to the arrival of emergency services.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the driver of the Subaru – a 30-year-old man – and a 5-year-old female passenger at the scene.
The man was airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital, and the child was taken by road to Armidale Hospital. Both are listed as being in a serious but stable condition.
Officers from New England Police District established a crime scene that was examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
