A man has died in a serious crash in Darwin tonight.
Northern Territory Police responded to a report of a motorbike crash on Tiger Brennan Drive near the intersection of Hidden Valley Road around 8:40pm.
The sole rider died at the scene of the crash.
The circumstances surrounding the cause of the crash will be investigated by members of the Major Crash Investigation Unit.
The outbound lane of Tiger Brennan Drive is closed at Hidden Valley with traffic diversion in place at Amy Johnson Avenue and Berrimah Road while investigations are conducted.
It is unknown when the road will reopen.
