Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash which occurred in Carrajung Lower this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Hyland Highway about 2.50pm after reports a car had left the road, crashed into a tree and caught fire.
The yet to be identified driver of the car died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
