Police are investigating a fatal crash in Essendon where a motorcyclist has died this evening.
It is understood the man was riding along Pascoe Vale Road before crashing into a tree about 5.25 pm.
The motorcyclist, who is yet to be formally identified, has sadly died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated.
